When you apply Patterns, some errors can ocurr. In Tools / Options / Patterns option of the GeneXus menu, you have properties to help you find these errors.

Debug template

Generate debug information when compililng templates, wich allows running them step by step. Useful for pattern developers.Once you configure to True this property, to debug templates you need to start GeneXus from the debbuger.

Default value: False

NOTE: Compiling templates with debug information incurs a small performance penalty, so turning on this flag is only recommended for pattern developers

Show generation errors

Load and display invalid generated objects. Useful for pattern developers, or to diagnose pattern application errors.

Default value: False
